I can help you.
Illinois Bankruptcy is all I do.

Financial difficulties can be some of the most challenging problems to deal with in life. Many people do not realize that those who file for bankruptcy in Illinois are often responsible individuals who have simply faced difficult circumstances. This could be due to a loss of employment, a decrease in pay, or an unexpected medical issue that leads to a high amount of medical bills. It is natural to feel overwhelmed, stressed, and embarrassed in this situation, but it is important to remember that there is hope for a better financial future.

There is a way out. You can have financial peace again. I have dedicated my career to helping those who struggle with debt and financial setbacks. Many are unaware of the powerful protections and relief that bankruptcy law provides in rebuilding their financial lives.

Military Service

I enrolled in ROTC at SIU. Upon graduation, I was awarded the status of Distinguished Military Graduate and received a Regular Army Commission. I was a lieutenant in the field artillery stationed in Ft. Stewart, Georgia with the 24th Infantry Division. I first became interested in the law during my third year in the army. I remember being in the middle of the swamps at about 4:00 am after being up for nearly three days and I thought to myself that this might not be the best career for me. I received an honorable discharge and served eight more years in the Illinois National Guard and retired at the grade of Major.

Education

I attended Southern Illinois University where I received my bachelors degree in Journalism. While at SIU, I played wing forward for their rugby club. I enjoyed rugby and continued to play for several years after law school. As a member of a family with a history of bankruptcy law spanning three generations, it was a natural choice for me to pursue a career as a bankruptcy attorney. After completing my service in the military, I enrolled in law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law. While there, I had the opportunity to study bankruptcy law with the esteemed Judge Richard N. Degunther, a well-respected expert in the field and accomplished author. This valuable experience allowed me to learn from a leading scholar in bankruptcy law. I have practiced bankruptcy law in Kane, DuPage, Will and Kendall Counties for over 30 years and have earned the respect of the local legal community.

Memberships

I am a member of the Illinois Bar Association and the Kane County Bar Association.

I am admitted to the Illinois Bar as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
